DK source diamond?

Thank you all for the depth of knowledge available on this forum!

I have reached out to David Klass to make a setting for a ring and he offered to source the diamond. Other than the research I have done here, I have no experience with jewelry nor a good eye for things. Any reason not to let him do it? What questions should I be asking?

The total cost will be around $5000 if that factors into your opinion.

He sources a lot of side stone for customers so I don't see why it would be an issue, I could just make sure he can provide with ASET and Idealscope images. He has the equipment for videos so that isn't an issue. He sourced I think 8 pairs of diamonds for my ring and all pairs were beautiful. I would trust him to do a good and fair job

If you look at the DK thread in SMTB, there are several erings that he sourced and made. I love his work!
