Should I ask for migraine in the bezel around diamond?
Any other requests I should make?

I just sent the ring this morning and am sick to my stomach with nerves!

Is this a 2 sided halo with diamonds on the side of the halo as well as the top? I'm not sure what I'm seeing on the side of the halo?

There is no bezel around the diamond. It is prong-set.

I am guessing the sides of the halo look that way because he must be putting milgrain there.

My only issue is that it looks like a band is going to hit the pieces (struts?) that hold up the halo. I think that base needs to be slightly thicker so a band has room. I'd personally add a doughnut under the halo.

Yes diamond seeker you are correct, there is migraine going there, no diamonds on the side of the halo.
Thanks for bringing up the band the struts, I will bring this up to him.

Final question- will the difference in melee in halo vs band (1.3 mm vs 1.5mm) matter much? He initially wanted 1.5mm melee around the halo but I remember seeing a thread on here saying that for a 1 carat/6mm ish diamond one pointers are the absolute max unless you want a chunky cluster look (which I don't). I also don't want 3/4 pointers because I am trying to you know, add a little finger presence too.
