DK price on setting

I noticed a little bit of DK pricing on another thread. I was hoping to get a quote from DK on this solitaire for my pear...was hoping
for $750-$1000 for white/yellow gold. Anyone with DK experience think it might be possible? Or, is it going to be $1000+?

I know I just need to call him but I just got a quote from him on my OEC so didnt want to bug him so soon. The OEC setting was
more elaborate with diamonds so I cant use it to make a guesstimate for a solitaire.

I would be shocked of it was MORE then 1000 for that setting from DK.

I got a quote for a simple setting from DK and it was more than 1000 bucks.

I think you just don't know until you ask.

Can't quite see how elaborate the design is but I did inquire about a custom solitaire setting and in gold it was around $800 and a little over $1k in platinum.

I agree that if in gold, it probably won't exceed $1000 but if platinum it probably will. At least that has been my experience with him.

That's very surprising as in the last year ive gotten 2 quotes from him for solis and they where between 400-650

Sent DK a request last night at about 8 pm. Wasnt expecting to hear from him until maybe after the holidays but I got
an email back from him right away. Looks like 14k is just under $1k and 18k is just over $1k. I had asked for satin finish
and either milgrain/engraving (or both) on a wider basket bar.

I think the price is fair and I'm going to go for it! I'm very excited except...this is the first ring I'll be doing that I feel like
I dont know exactly what I want or how it might turn out (I know CADS will help a lot). I'll be asking for your help (the collective you)
to get some ideas and try to figure out what I want for metal, etc. I know DK will also have lots of information/advice and I'm excited
to work with him.
