This is how it looks on the hand ... also from a couple days ago. Hello Summer Swell!

I love that DIANA band ... fan of miligrain, I am. You could actually get a similar, homage to that band, look with your E-ring & two super skinny yellow pave bands flanking

Not a bad idea either. I''ll have to check some B&M stores to see if a yellow pave band suits me.

Regarding that hand swelling...I take a itty bitty water pill prescribed by my doctor that helps rid me of that problem, as well as keep my blood pressure down. But summer time, it''s hard to escape it...

Here''s one version of the "micro pave yellow diamond band" .. 1.2 mm wide, .25 tcw ... they say not to put 18K gold up against platinum because gold will eventually wear away - because platinum is tougher ... I dunno. I like the LOOK though. You could do yellow diamonds set in platinum I guess?

It probably would be better to go with platinum for the rubbing reason. Although I am inclined to at least try some on at the mall to see what the look is like. I think I''ll wind up liking plat more, though.

I received an email reply from Lesley at Whiteflash and she indicated that the Divisi setting can be made to accommodate my diamond size so that no shiny metal would show on the sides.

I wanted to make sure this thread noted this in case anyone wants to consider that setting. Be sure to note to WF that this is the way they prefer the setting to be made.

cinnamon, you CAN NOT change your ring! It''s so beautiful I can''t stand it! I think you should get two of the matching bands from WF! One for now, one for later! One band will look fabulous, too.

One more time: I LOVE YOUR RING!!!

Hahahaha. Two bands, great idea, but I still gotta save up for one of those bands!

And, I tried to get up enough nerve to tell my husband about the alternate/change the setting idea. I can even find a way to bring it up! So, I guess I''ll be waiting for either the band to match, or some other really skinny eternity band like the ones decodelighted linked to. And, either one of those bands are not such a bad thing anyway.

I really do think some of my issue is that I''ve had larger wedding bands before, and this one is such a princess like piece. I guess it just makes it easier to stare at the diamond!

Update:
I am staying with the setting I have. I tried on micro pave thin bands at Shane Co and the look is wonderful. I will wait until I''ve saved the funds for the matching band to my Legato micro pave, and get it.

Hmmm Cinnamon...I LOVE your wf setting & think you should keep it! I am considering getting it for my blue sapphire rhr project. I originally liked your setting, as well as Basil''s & Neatfreak''s Ritani. I think the Legato micropave is more in my price range...of course I''d happily take that puppy off your hands...LOL. But I think you should keep it! Its gaw-geous! What are you not liking about it right now that is making you long for the Divisi? (also gorgeous---but I LOVE how Deco''s artistic eye catches the minor details...I never noticed that before & that is something that would bug me in the long run)

Deco: Can you come be my eyes from now on?
