After upgrading my diamond engagement ring earlier this year I felt my original engagement ring in white gold made with a cubic zirconia, yes I got married with a cubic zirconia and still wear it on occasions. Needed a bit of TLC as well.
I bought a pre loved Distinctive gem (8.7mm) from a lovely fellow PS user and started this new project. I teamed up with my local jeweller. Wanting to pay homage to original engagement ring as it’s sentimental to me I maintained it’s original style with a few little adjustments, like six from four prongs, a thinner band, plus a eternity style made with natural diamonds. Also melting down the original metal to be used into the ring to create a two tone metal. The inner old white gold and platinum on the outer for maintenance purposes.
I love the result and now I feel I have the best of both worlds with two different ring styles a win to suit any occasion. A distinctive Gen Moissanite is stunning you won’t be disappointed!
Enjoy the pics.
