I just picked out a 2.02 F VS2 Princess cut (rectangular shape) diamond to be set in a tiffany platinum setting for my engagement ring. I have a question..The diamond produces a lot of light, particulary a lot of rainbow colors (dispersion). By looking at the diamond all you see is different colors of the rainbow. Is that normal?? Is it suppossed to do that??? The stone is an F and looks very white. It sparkles a lot. I don't know the other numbers yet (the cut and percentages). Please help me. I have only few days to make my final decision.

Thank you in advance.

Please Help!!!

Yes, it's supposed to do that, if it's cut well. It's called "fire." It's good.
