Hi everyone, first-time poster here and starting to explore MMDs. I’ve checked out Alex Park’s stones and understand he’s not one for hand-holding. He’s had some larger emerald cuts and currently has an antique oval available. I’m hesitant to make a purchase because I’m worried about potential light leakage. My budget doesn’t allow for a concierge service and would love opinions on my concerns from those who have purchased from him.

I actually love this oval. I think it's very well cut and Alex will be able to make you a really affordable setting too!

Thank you @maryjane04 and @DejaWiz. I have analysis paralysis as I am not sure this will be big enough and flip flopping over an EC. Not sure whether I will notice the "H" color in this stone.

The warmth suits the antique cut, but that’s all logic and not heart. If you’re worried now, maybe ask for a lower color similar cut? I know they do custom orders.
