okay gals..i think isaac gets the point....ixnay on the nail polish and no shaving cream for men.

while i may not understand the nail polish thing, there are shades of gray with customer satisfaction or trying to get to that point. it was commendable of isaac and his team to send the nail polish as a little something, thinking she''d like it....and the piggy bank thing was cute, but yes many times it''s just as simple as getting the ring or jewelry item done in the timeframe you promise...then there are no ''patience'' gifts required.

i also think that isaac may not have realized just how much of a blessing PS can be...and a curse at the same time. there is definitely a fine line to walk in terms of respect given to the consumer here by vendors....i personally didn''t care for some of his tone in a few of the lines there...regardless of what he actually feels inside...using terms like ''shocked and dismayed'' about nina posting here to me seems like he is calling her a liar, like she gave off some other impression of happiness...and i felt a little inappropriate for a post here. also the comment about him not taking kindly to having money extorted from him....

isaac, have someone else proof your posts in the future is my own humble suggestion in order to keep the PS wolves at bay.
I agree with Mara''s statement...very well said

pricescope is pretty objective to me, given that it's made up of so many different types of consumers AND vendors...you have all types of people here, so it's hard to imagine there is any sort of 'bias' for or against something or someone IMO. no one here on PS ever agrees all the time. we often all get into squabbles because we disagree on something...big deal.

for me i think it's great that vendors can read what consumers post and rebut if necessary, because i surely would like to know what someone is saying about me and my business. i think most of us here are smart enough to read between the lines many times on consumer's posts or their complaints, and also vendors in terms of their responses. also i think that how consumers and vendors conduct themselves on forums like this says alot. this kind of thread gives you more insight into vendors than any other type of thread.

for every bad experience posted, i try to be objective and think about what is said in the original complaint, the tone etc. some customers are just plain high maintenance and NEVER able to be pleased even after the vendor went the extra mile...we've all seen these a time or two. but others genuinely had a problem with something and how the vendor responds to that is very important IMO. i think that almost anyone working with a PS vendor cannot 'go wrong' because they all are known for exceptional work and also customer service. if a vendor can fix something, they will 99.9% of the time.

i'd MUCH rather this kind of verbal exchange is listed on here for everyone to see than tried to be kept behind the scenes, because it's like playing a game of telephone otherwise if you keep it behind the scenes and i think it does alot of damage to the vendors because they always hear about the 'rumors' but half the time stuff is never directly addressed with them. it's hard to know if there is a problem if no one ever speaks up.

and i would hope that no one would be scared to post a bad experience with anyone...first off because IMO an adult being scared to post anything on an internet forum is a little silly....but also because i do think that PS is pretty fair since it IS so diverse. however, if you do post something negative...be aware that people WILL scrutinize it ...that is just how PS is in general, pretty analytical people reside here. vendors are often put under a microscope, but i also feel like sometimes consumers are as well which is not a bad thing...why should anything anyone says on here be taken as 'gospel'? it's hard to know true facts often times. two sides to every story!
