Hello experts!
I am looking at this stone:
Carat weight: 2ct
Shape: Round
Color: J
Clarity: SI2
Cut grade: Excellent
Depth: 61.9%
Table: 57%
Culet: None
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Excellent
Fluorescence: None
Measurements: 8.08x8.12x5.01mm
Comment: H&A,EXCELLENT
Lab certificate: EGL
The special note says that 8 hearts and 8 arrows are visible. However, the EGL plot shows a lengthy, thick, red line from the edge slanting towards the center(not extending into the table). This line shows on the drawing of the top and the bottom of the stone. The rest of the plot is completely clear. I do not know what this red line means. Since it is SI2, does that mean it will not be black? Is it worth a look? It is a great price...Please help me decipher.
