Did I pay too much????

I recently purchased a "Hearts & Arrows" diamond. It is certified by IGI which makes me wonder if I got a good deal... It is .75 carats, ideal cut, ex symmetry/polish, vs2 grade, I color, faint fluorescence. I paid $3,000. Was this too much?

It looks like you paid a bit too much, but the price you paid isn''t totally appalling provided that the IGI graded stone is actually an I VS2 (they tend to be lenient on grading). Similar stones on pricescope are going for $2622-2681.

Forgot to mention it was set in a platinum band...maybe that accounts for some of the difference???
