Um. Princess cut? It's NOT a round, right?

And is this the setting? http://www.since1910.com/Jewelry/Settings/Details/tabid/198/Default.aspx?Product=143&gclid=CNe3sPyjqKoCFQM_bAodfSZpWw

And did you get 18K white gold of platinum for the setting?

Subtract the price of the setting from your total. And then look up stones with the same specs... EGL, Princess, Carat Weight, Color and Clarity on this tool, and see if you got a good deal or not: https://www.pricescope.com/diamond-search-results/

Also is the EGL lab, EGL US or one of the others? It makes a difference in the price.

I'm on my phone so I can't do the search tool for you to show you pricing on comparable stones but I want to ask you these questions...

If you discover you didn't get a good deal would this ruin the ring for you? Are you able at this point to return/exchange the diamond at this point? Do you love the stone?

If you can't exchange the stone at this point and you love it- do you still want people to tell you if it wasn't a good deal?
