Bought the diamond from B2Cjewels, it is 0.75 carats, H color, SI1 (eye clean), GIA excellent cut, polish, symetry with a Strong blue flourescence. I paid $2256 for it.

Here is the same stone on jamesallen with a scan of it

I had it set in this setting

The price I got it for seemed pretty good, almost too good I think. I see this diamond listed on Zales.com for $3800+

It will be here this week and I have 30 days to get my money back if it is no good, but I am just wondering what your thoughts on it are.

The diamond measurements look fine, although we usually tell people to get an idealscope image to be sure there isn't leakage. Also, it is good to have the vendor check the diamond to be sure it is eyeclean. You'll basically have to do that yourself. But assuming it is eyeclean, it probably is a very nice choice! The fluorescence is probably a plus in an H color stone.

Thanks for the reply. I did ask before I purchased and they said it was eye clean. They also told me it doesn't get milky or hazy like some flourescent diamonds do.

I think it was a very good buy, but when you get it check it out in lots of lighting to make sure its eye clean to your standards. This is just always a good idea with SI stones.
