If you mean 9.5k for 2ctw then it looks like a deal for sure. For peace of mind, I'd have the diamonds sent to an independent appraiser to make sure they weren't damaged during the duration of being owned by your friend.

This seems like a good price. Just be sure to get a 40x loupe and confirm the number on the girdle matches the GIA number. If you google it, you can see the official GIA font. Trust but verify.

Thanks PintoBean (price is for 2ctw)
Thanks rockysalamander for the tip, I will confirm the inscription.

Any concerns around the specs? I was a bit worried about the girdle.

Excellent price for 2ctw! Nice specs, too!

For a ring, the low crown would be a concern. But, as earrings, that will be less of an issue. The girdle is fine. You don't want it thin. What about it worried you?

You can also likely get a local jeweler to check the girdles for you. Not a Kay or big box store -- not Harry Winston of TIffany. Something in between and who will check them in front of you. I don't let anyone I don't know take my rings out of my sight.

Just because, I see word "thick"...I am a newbie here so just making sure I am not missing anything.
I will have a local jeweler check both the inscription and girdle. Many thanks for your time.

The thick girdle is good for durability, but means they hide a bit of weight. But, at this price if they are confirmed, I would not worry about it. :wavey:

Ex price for the pair!. be sure there are no chips on the girdles.

These two diamonds are .12 - .13 mm apart in diameter. I would not recommend them as side stones on a 3-srone ring (my two CBIs are .01mm apart) but they will be fine as earrings on the sides of your head. I personally would want them to face up as equally as possible.

Yup, Me too, more of a mind thing! ..

Thanks everyone for the responses!
