http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/diamonds/diamond-details/0.548-i-vs2-round-diamond-ags-104057888042#!prettyPhoto[gallery2]/1/. Is the ASET too dark and idealscope not dark red enough? Here is another brian gavin (smaller then what I want) for comparison. http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/diamonds/diamond-details/0.408-i-si1-round-diamond-ags-c-104063262100#!prettyPhoto[gallery2]/3/ Why the brightness difference? I have not got the diamond and am still in return period. I payed $1600 by the way (i compared with whiteflash too and this was the best buy in terms of money). Edit- i think the second diamond has less contrast though so maybe the one i got is better?

Hey Pharma!

I think the stone looks great! From what I can tell, BG has some of the best cut rounds out there! Nice choice, guy!!! :appl:

it's beautiful pharma! BG stones are awesomely cut. The only thing I would have changed would be to say look in the BG Blue section to see if there was anything a little bigger in the same price range with fluor (brings a discount), but I looked and there wasn't anything in that size/price range. You can't go wroung with a BG stone (or WF either, since the specialty stones parameters for both were designed by him).

Yes, you picked a good one. All of the BG Signature line are well cut. It has skinnier arrows (77%) v.s the smaller one (75% lower girdle % and you have to look at the AGS report to see that that points to.) Whether you like broad arrows or more subtle ones is personal preference. 77% -79% or even 80% seems to be in the range that many people like.
