Did I chose the right Anniversary Gift?

Could not decide on gift. My wife already has diamond studs (on the small size) that could use an upgrade and give our daughter the old pair, but thought a pendant would be a great addition to my wife's jewelry box.

This is what I got:

These are the studs I was looking at:

Just having second thoughts that I am sure are not warranted.

Do I do alright?

Hi,
Just wondering how old your wife is? To me, even though that pendant is lovely, it has somewhat of an older feel to it.

You might consider just doing the biggest, well-cut stone in your budget in a bezel setting. Like this...tell them you are a PriceScoper
and you want a PS quality stone.

If you are looking to up the size factor then maybe a halo like this...

I actually prefer this one over the one you selected...have them up the carat weight to your budget .

The one you selected is pretty but it seems like it's for an older women. I'm in my 50's and I consider it for someone older than me
if that tells you anything. :cheeky:

I have to agree with tyty -- the pendant you chose has an "older" vibe. I do think a pendant is the way to go, if she already has studs, and I think either of those bezel settings are lovely and more up-to-date. The bezel halo is really lovely! But of course you know your wife's taste. Best wishes as you decide!

honestly I think the pendant is a little old looking. I am a big fan of IDJ but I would rather have a solitaire in a simple bezel, not in this type of setting. The earrings I would rather hold out and save up for a full carat total weight....

Hi Michael
Only your wife can decide if you chose the right anniversary gift, so I'm afraid that advice here won't be of much help. It's sweet of you to want to buy her the right thing, so I wish you the best and I hope that it works out for you:)
