I bought a .50 etoile solitare by Tiffany & Co. through Signed Pieces.

I am completely satisfied with my purchase. The Tiffany diamond is amazing and I''ve looked at it through an idealscope. All hearts and arrows. I love my ring and do not feel like I got ripped off.

That said, I could have bought a bigger and better cut stone with the same money. I went with the 2nd hand Tiffany ring because I wanted the exact etoile solitaire setting. I bought the ring more for the setting than for the stone.

Most Tiffany diamonds are well cut, but you can buy better cut non-Tiffany diamonds.

I would never buy a diamond ring directly from Tiffany''s. If Signed Pieces didn''t have what I wanted, I never would have bought the ring I did.

Also, after Tiffany''s verified that my ring was authentic, I got a new appraisal and I got the ring sized at Tiffany''s. I can go into the Seattle Tiffany''s and get my ring cleaned whenever I want. And I qualify for 1 lifetime upgrade with Tiffany''s. All the benefits at a "discount" price. Love it!

seattlesweetheart..that is so awesome that you got your etoile from signedpieces. I had always wondered if tiffany''s would still be able to offer the 1 upgrade if you didn''t do the original purchase from them. how did you go about asking and what exactly did they tell you. we get that question a lot on here and it would be great to know how it worked for you...

I am on the lookout myself, but I want to be sure if I should wait around for one on Signed Pieces or look into something else completely different if it costs too much even at the discount. Apologies if the question is rude and intrusive.
