Hi Everyone,


I am writing to share my experience with the Diamonds-Usa.com. I recently purchased a loose diamond from this company online. After placing the order and receiving my confirmation, I received a telephone call from a sales representative stating that the pricing was wrong and that she was cancelling the order. After arguing with her for over an hour, I advised her to have the owner/manager to call me personally the following day. After hanging up the phone I checked my online bank statement and saw that there was a charge pending for the purchased amount. A day later I went back to the website and saw that the diamond I purchased was relisted for the same price again!!!!!!! I received an email from the owner stating that he was cancelling my order. I emailed him back stating that I still have charges to my card pending and he said it was a "pre-authorization only". Irregardless I have money now tied up with this company and no clue when or if Im going to be getting reimbursed. Their disclaimer states that if a transaction is fraudulent, then it is up to the credit card company to reimburse you! What kind of a business are they running???? Who states that in their disclaimer??? The owner/manager refuses to call me which sends up a red flag. Businesses in general should honor their prices. I know there are laws protecting the consumer against these tactics. Is this some form of bait and switch??? Needless to say I advise anyone purchasing diamonds online to NOT deal with this company. Had the owner contacted me, I would have been willing to negotiate pricing with him. I feel they are running some kind of a scam. Business professionals do not act like this. Take heed and only deal with reputable jewelers.
