Very recently (last night!) just learned about unsafety with bands with diamonds on the side or in parts of the metal. Originally I was having trouble deciding which band I liked the look of better and after reading a few posts on here learned about pave and rings falling apart and now I'm very worried my whole design is not very safe at all.

Notice that there are diamonds all around the basket/crown part. Is that pretty unsafe looking...???

1.) SAFETY - Will diamonds on the side of this band be unsafe/dangerous/need babying?
Any recommendations for safest way to put diamonds in side of this band?
Would you choose the plain band from a safety standpoint, or will the diamond one be ok?
Are the diamonds around the crown unsafe and prone to falling out?

2.) AESTHETIC - Which one do you prefer the look of? Plain or diamonds on the side?

The ring is designed by David Klass, 14k rose gold on the outside, 14k white gold on the inside. He said the diamonds would be done in a shallow u pave.mine_0.png

The only diamond that may directly be rubbed by a band is this one.

I'd get rid of that one for sure, as it will be hidden with your wedding band anyway. The others could get beaten up if you accidentally bang the side of the ring on a table, counter, etc... you'd have to be very cautious.

My old halo Setting had pavé all over it, and I never had a problem, but I was very conscious of them and made it a point to be careful.
