Diamonds on Prongs

Hi everyone,

Has anyone ever seen a setting with diamonds on top of the prongs.

I find it very beautiful, however was curious as to whether it might take away from the beauty of my already gorgeous AGS 0 E VS2 center stone.

Any thoughts or recommendations.

You mean something like this?

I don't see how something with pave diamonds would take away from your center diamond, personally. It's not exactly my taste in settings, but whatever you think is pretty is good for you, right?

Haven't seen those on diamonds much...

But some prongs are virtually all diamond... such as THESE with inset marquizes

Not that pave can't be pushed to the limit !

Besides... you may see what paved prongs look like on a 2.5 cts round (LINK) and a 10 carat center (LINK).
