I think Rocky talky should be just for that, discussions and advice. Helping new people understand the pros and cons of stones they''re interested in and linking alternatives if they ask. As I don''t think it''s the correct section to praise the same vendors over and over, a vendor review forum would be great. It would also help new people to read about personal experiences, the pros and cons of working with individual vendors as well as local stores.
It would also be much easier for someone to find information about a particular vendor all in once place instead of doing multiple searches.

ETA I think that forum is just for happy outcomes? You probably mean the good, bad and ugly reviews?
