1.) I wanted to buy a pair of diamond studs on a very small budget (around $600). I would love .5 ctw bur I’m not sure what I can get for that price. Any advice?

2.) My mom found these earrings that were my grandmother’s. As an alternative, I was thinking of having these made into studs. What do you think I’m looking at here in terms of ctw? Do these diamonds look okay?

(I’m a jewelry lover on a student budget, so I don’t have much experience buying).

Thanks in advance to anyone who answers!D284080D-615B-4082-98D7-0CE7ED224890.jpeg358AE56C-43B3-4F55-B9C3-3B66A164B7F9.jpegB74C7CAD-C040-4A8B-96F5-8ACD987357A2.jpeg

Checkout James Allen and Blue Nile, they are running some sales. You could also try Costco.

If you're open to lab diamonds, I'd recommend Lightbox Jewelry for the best prices. Bloomingdale's sometimes has some sales on Lightbox Jewelry.

If it was me, I'd keep your grandmother's earrings as a sentimental heirloom.

Looks like the Blue Nile one is the best option, given earth mined and price. The James Allen lab diamond is the best price overall.

Thanks for the suggestions!
