Hi everyone. I am looking for my first pair of diamond studs but have a pretty strict budget. The stones I am looking at are:
1) 1ct each, F, SI1, excellent cut, brilliant OR
2) 1.2ct each, G, SI1, excellent cut, brilliant
Should i give up 1 grade of color for a larger carat stones? Will I be able to tell the difference? Also, is there a difference between "excellent cut" and "ideal cut"? I have seen people advertise different cut names, even "Premiere cut" and it all gets confusing to me.
I plan on setting them in a platinum 3 prong claw martini setting (similar to Leon Mege''s).
I got my cushion cut e-ring set by Leon Mege and he did a fantastic job.
THANKS!!
