Diamond studs help!

Hi everyone-- I''ve been reading this site over the past few weeks and learning a huge amount about purchasing diamonds. I''m looking to find a pair of diamond stud earrings for an upcoming anniversary, and hoping to get some guidance from this great group.

I''m looking to find earrings of 1.0 to 1.2 ctw set in three-prong martinis. I''ve found the following diamonds and would appreciate any feedback:

Are there two diamonds here that would be better than the others? Are these good picks generally? Ideally I wanted something slightly larger, closer to 1.2 ctw, but seems to be hard to find.

maybe drop color/clarity to go larger? ask WF if they match well

any of these would match well. You could also drop colour/clarity to go bigger as slg pointed out.

These generally look like good stones for studs? Any advice for the regular vs. handmade martini settings?

Thanks slg-- I broadened color parameters and saw a couple Fs that are larger at ~1.2 ctw, and comments would be great-- is it worth upgrading color/size to these?

I would go lower in color (I/J) for earrings personally...but it depends on your preferences and budget!

Hi there...just want to reply since I just recently purchased a similar order myself.

I was looking at G/SI1 for earrings at 1.2 ctw and Bob from WF found me a great pair. I wound up going with the handmade martinis, they really are lovely (pics coming soon!).

Also, I wouldn''t hesitate by dropping to I for earrings. I originally was looking for H and Bob couldnt find a suitable matching pair so he found me some G''s that were offered at a fair price.

So I''m thinking of getting the first two F SI1s listed above-- do these seem like a good choice? Anyone think the others would be better?
