Diamond Stud Search

Hi all...long time lurker, first time poster. I'd like this wise group's advice on an upcoming purchase for my wife -- I'm planning to buy her diamond studs to celebrate the arrival of our baby girl (our first). I've read as much as I can on this board and am hoping for some help both with selecting the right specs and also actually finding the stones.

Here is what I am looking for:

Round
1.1-1.3 tcw
H-I color
VS2-SI1 clarity
Ideal cut
Price -- Under $4,000 (or maybe $4,500) for the stones if at all possible
I'll likely be setting these in simple 4-prong platinum settings, but also welcome suggestions here

Based on what I have read, I think I would like to maximize size and cut, perhaps at the expense of color and clarity (though would prefer eye clean). Of course, welcome any suggestions or input as to these parameters.

Also, would greatly appreciate any suggestions of actual stones from reputable online vendors that might fit. I've searched whiteflash and good old gold and am having trouble finding a whole lot given this particular search.

Hi. Your wife is a lucky lady, especially after have your first baby this is a lovely gift. I thought I would let you know I am currently selling my studs on consignment with a jeweler in Philadelphia. They are just under 2 carats total, at .86 each, H color vs2. They are in platinum 3 prong, martini style prongs ( so to lay flat against the ear). I am selling them to fund another purchase and my asking price is close to your budget. Thio sounds like a great prospect . I prefer the 3 prong martini setting that's how mine are set. The sit lower in your ear.
