This is for the question I asked a couple hours ago pertaining to the GIA with mistaken AGS label:

Price: $2000
wt: .88 ct
cut: ideal
Color: I
Clarity: SI1
Depth: 61.7%
Table %: 56%
Symmetry: Ideal
Polish: Ideal
Girdle: Thin to Medium
Culet: None
Fluor: Strong
Measurements: 6.16x6.20x3.81mm

I certainly apprecaite any input as I am planning to purchase this diamond within a few hours. Thanks in advance!

Hi James,

The specs look fine, but my only concern would
be with the strong fluorescence.

With some diamonds, strong to very strong fluorescence
may effect the diamond in a variety of ways. Like
a cloudy murky or oily appearance.

This effect is only present in some diamonds with strong fluorescence.

On the other hand, some diamonds are not at all adversely effected by this phenomena.

Thank you very much for the response! I will have a no questions asked full refund period should I decide to purchase so I will look for those effects. I just wanted to make sure I don't make a catastrophic error. Thanks again,

Hi James,

The price does seem very low for a diamond that size,
but there are options you may explore to protect yourself if necessary.

Option 1. You can have your diamond examined by an independent appaiser prior to purchase.

Option 2. You may have your diamond examined by an
independent appaiser after your purchase.

Buy informed.
