Diamond shaped gold and ceramic necklace identification

Can anyone tell me what might be the history and value on this necklace? It came from the Ezra Hasbrouck Fitch family.

Probably made in Italy, and most likely set in gold.

Wow. No idea other than if it belonged to Ezra himself, he died in 1930, so it would be older than that. Super cool. How did you acquire this?
