Diamond ring

this ring was worn by the same person who wore the ruby and diamond bracelet I asked about in previous thread. Any thoughts on age and origin of this? Thanks for any help!!

Wow, this ring is stunning. Looks like Old Mine cut stones. And two rubies!
I can't speak to the age. Perhaps the same age as the ruby and diamond bracelet.
A quick polish to remove the hairline scratches on the gold, and this will be even more fabulous!

Does it have any hallmarks?
With dating jewellery mostly it is the hallmarks that can date / give an origin to a piece. sometimes its the cut and type of the gemstones in the piece and also the style of the setting.
The ring given its heft and style ie a signet ring, indicates to me it’s a mans ring. That of course doesn’t preclude women from loving and wearing such pieces, it may well have been the wearers father or husbands ring and of special significance to her.
