Diamond recut reco: Toronto Canada

Has anyone had a diamond recut in Canada recently, preferably Toronto?

You can talk to Adam at bill leboufs he does have someone who does recut diamonds and can do AGS specs however I'm certain it would probably be cheaper to do this stateside. You can mail your diamond from across the boarder to Brian gavin diamonds or goodoldgold and have it recut and mailed to a shipper in niagara of buffalo. Not sure of any cutters in toronto specifically.

Thanks Vintagelover. Ya, I was in contact with BGD a few years ago (!) about recutting this stone. In hindsight I should have done it then (2013) because our dollar is so crap right now. The exchange is what's deterring me
All that said, I trust Brian and GoG - so it's probably worth the extra dough.

Embee Diamonds does repairs and recuts. I don't know them personally, but I've seen an old miner diamond they repaired and it was quite nicely done. Maybe someone on PS knows them? They are in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. http://www.embeediatech.ca/diamond-recut/

If you can work accross the border....what about Jerry at Gemart Services? My mom used him for a sapphire repair after her lovely, silky Kashmir sapphire met a concrete wall. But, but I'm not sure if he works with diamonds. He's in California. [email protected]
