Today to everyone's expectation there were some price increases ,in polished diamonds from 2 cts.& up!
They were reflected in the high colors D-G,quality IF-SI1
& Some SI2's in lower colors.
These Price increases were due to the fact that there is a shortage of rough created by debeers,and also debeers supplier of choice.
Most everyone in the industry has seen it coming during the christmas season ,when we all had a big rush on larger stones.
Even though we cannot predict the future ,We think that this is not the end of the price increase,there is more to come in the next few months before it stabilizes.
