Diamond price in Europe

Back again with another question. Living in Europe I´m looking for the best place to buy diamonds, price being most important. I´m living in the UK at the moment and prices don´t compare very well with the US but I´ve had little luck finding prices in other European countries.

Outside of Europe, isn´t the US the best place to buy diamonds?
