Wow, I just noticed this. My diamond is a vs1 and has one tiny black spot thats hard to find under the loupe, but the way it reflects in the facet it looks like 2 dots. The diamgam of inclusions on the cert shows 2. I thought it was 2 until I just got to really looking at it, I noticed it is actualy 1 that is reflecting. So should it still be listed as 2 dots even though one is a reflection?

I know it dosnt really matter, but just curiouse.

Jensia,

Inclusions are plotted according to their actual location, not the location(s) of their reflected image. Some inclusions (depending on locations within the pavilion) can reflect multiple times, but the plot will still show one inclusion.

Hope this helps.

hmm, Makes me wonder if they made a mistake on this one. The plot shows two, but I can see it is the same one reflected.
Same exact irregular shape, theres no doubt, once I realized it. If you turn the angle you can see its only one.

Either there are two inclusions..., or there might be a chance that the lab made a mistake... (they are human too...)
