Hi there,
I am scouting for a ring as per the description above and ideally art deco-ish.

I've found this one below but am unsure as to its legitimacy. The girlfriend LOVES it but said she'd be disappointed if it wasn't from the pre-war (WW2) period.
Please could somebody be kind enough to help and also perhaps give a value range? I know it's a lot to ask but I don't know where else to go for help.

THE RING:
It is Platinum (Henry Blank & Co according to the hallmark)
1.8 carot emerald cut diamond (the seller isn't sure it is an original to the ring). Colour M, calrity SI2
The diamond has an open culet (is that ok/normal?) and doesn't fit perfectly into the ring.

(sorry I don't know how to put the pictures directly into this message)

Many thanks in advance!

I don't think the EC is the original stone and although it looks like an open culet, I don't think it has one - it is just very poorly cut (major P3 issues).

Thank you for responding!

What do you mean by major P3 issues - I've googled the terms and it seems to mean there are very visible inclusions....
My eye is far from trained... can you show me where the inclusions are? I can't seem to see any.

Whhe you say "poor cut" do you mean poor peice of diamond or poor cutting of the diamond?

Many thanks!
