This one is a diamond and platinum bracelet. Very heavy.

Here are some updated pictures of the bracelet. This was a tough one to photograph.

OakGem asked if I knew who the maker was on the bracelet (although i don't see his/her post here).

Yet another question I can't answer. Grrr...frustrating.

There is an eagle's head mark on the tongue. What I know about hallmarks/maker's marks could fit on the head of a pin. Once the gemologist pointed out the mark, I did a small amount of research on the internet. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the eagles head means two things: it is a French mark and the mark for gold.

That's all well and good, except that the body of the bracelet is platinum. Maybe that means that the tongue was replaced at some point. I just don't know.

I didn't measure it (yet), but I can tell you that it's not small. This is yet another piece that desperately needs cleaning. That's on my list for the gemologist to do.

I'm not skilled at taking pictures, but I'll give it a shot this afternoon...maybe in front of the just-budding red bud tree in the yard. I'll also try to remember to take measurements.

Here are two more pictures of the bracelet. The first picture is one taken with the bracelet on my wrist. This is a self-portrait. In other words, I had the bracelet on one wrist while I took the picture with my free hand.

The second picture is the bracelet next to a ruler.

The measurements are as follows:

Length - with the tongue of the bracelet extended = 7 3/4 inches
Length - without the tongue extended = 7 1/2 inches
Width = 3/4 inches
