My husband and I went to NYC and a number of other cities in mid-march to celebrate our 7 year wedding anniversary. Prior to the trip, I have decided to purchase a diamond pendant from ID Jewelry, after seeing many positive reviews of the jeweler. Our shopping experience with ID Jewelry was a positive one. Jade gave me four pendants to try on. She even allowed me to step outside of the glass doors to look at the pendants without the ultra-bright store lighting.
I have chosen a diamond circle pendant. Here are the specs:
This particular pendant is also available online. The online price excludes the 14K white gold chain. As I live in Australia, tax is added to the overall price. However, Jade gave me some discount. I actually decided not to buy the white gold chain as I didn't like it very much but the length is perfect at 16" and I was told the chain is very sturdy. Nonetheless, I still bought it.
ID jewelry has also given me a number of items to go with my purchase. Being a tourist, Jade gave me a copy of ID Jewelry branded NYC guide, a pen and a letter of valuation. Yekutiel (I think) told me that the pendant was set using tension setting, should the diamond fall out (touchwood), I can send it back to get the diamond(s) replaced. Of course, I still handle the pendant carefully (no shower and sleeping with it on). No moral hazard!
