Diamond huggie earrings - 1.5 ctw or 2.0 ctw?

Hello All: Need some advise. I am treating myself to a pair of diamond huggie earrings for my 55th birthday next month. Can't decide if I should go with 1.5 carat or 2.0 carat? I know that some of you out there have them as I have seen the threads. Please let me know your thoughts. Would you have gone larger or smaller? And any other advise you can give me regarding this purchase. Thank you.

First, happy birthday, good choice for a to-me-from-me present.
Have you tried on both sizes?
Do you consider both sizes good for all occasions? Mine are WF's smallest at .65 total, but I never get dressed up and can wear them with no makeup and a ball cap.
Insurance/no insurance? Most people have a price point.
DS did a fabulous thread, but she didn't go up to 2 carats:

I prefer the 1.5ctw huggies--I happen to have the WF version similar to DS's huggies.

Thank you for pointing me to the thread that DS made - very helpful and how nice of her to take the time to show the three sizes. I just love all of you expert PS posters! Yes, I have tried both sizes and will now try to decide which works best for me! Thank you again for your expert advise.
