DIAMOND help URGENT

Some one offered me a large Diamond, with GIA Certificate,
And tells me that the diamond has a small chip and a few nicks,

How can I get an appraiser evaluator (not a jeweler which will cut me out of the deal) should go see the stone at its current location, and determine how many carats will be left after repairing the stone?
The seller’s location is in the Houston TX area, willing to pay,Most be tomorrow or Tuesday ONLY,
