Hello Everyone,

I''m new to pricescope. A week ago I purchased this diamond from Whiteflash. I''ve never owned anything like this before in my life! I''m currently waiting for the diamond to be set into a Whiteflash design setting. Hopefully the ring with be shipped to me sometime this week. I live in Finland so the shipping will take some time.

Please give me your opinions on this diamond.

It looks good. I think it will be beautiful! The table seems a little large, it will give big flashes of white light! Can''t wait to see the ring

looks sweet to me.
Not the usual fare around here but kicken in its own right.

It should be beautiful. Since the depth is abput minimum for a well cut stone, it should have a nice spread. Whiteflash always does it right. I am very pleased with the guidance and the stone and setting I got from tnem. Relax until it arrives. I dpn''t think you have anything to be concerned about.

I think it looks great - I don''t think you will be disappointed!

Which diamond would be a better buy? My diamond with the stats on the first thread or this diamond which is just a little bit more money?

Well the second one is an ACA. That means it''s the tops of the tops. The original one you chose is Expert Selection = beautiful diamond value for the money. The choice between the two is up to you. They will both be beautiful.

shay

They are almost the exact same size and they are both I color - so it is a coin flip from our end.

I would call WF and have someone look at the two stones and make give their expect opinion.

(Even though they are both "I" color, there is sometimes slight variation - I personally would ask them to pick out the whiter of the two stones)

good luck

The A Cut Above H&A is graded by AGS and the Expert Selection diamond is graded by GIA. Should this make a difference???

I called Whiteflash and I spoke with Jamie (she''s so sweet!).
She''s going to have someone take a look at these two diamonds to help me determine which one is the best for me.

I''d take the AGS diamond hands down. Very lovely choice!

LOVE the second diamond (AGS). It is an "super ideal". Since you are coming this close to an ideal cut, why have a 59 table which contributes to the slightly shallow crown of 14.1%? Go all the way baby!

To me, a 55 table is perrrrfect, and the CA & PA combos on this AGS is awesome. Finally, once set, the prongs cover some of the crown facets making the table look bigger than when it is loose. Your spending about 10 grand so don''t fiddle with a debatable table size and crown height. The second one is ultra "mind clean" when it comes to proportions, and this whole diamond business thrives of neuroris, so just feed the beast...

I''ve decided to go with the A Cut Above H&A diamond instead of my original Expert Selection Diamond.
Thank you everyone that helped me!
