Hi everyone,

I have learned *so* much on this board about diamonds for engagement rings, but what about diamond earrings? I would like to buy a nice pair (.5ct each diamond or so- 1ct total weight), but have no idea how to start. Are there places that sell diamond earrings which have certified diamonds? What should I know about this?

Cheers-
Natasha

many of the vendors on this site sell certified diamonds that they will set for you after you pick the diamonds. i have recently bought a set from good old gold and was pleased with the service and assistance that jonathan and his staff offered. many of the other vendors and whiteflash and nice ice also seem to be highly thought of by the posters on this site. talk to the vendors and ask for their assistance and i'm sure you won't be disappointed.

The same characteristics that make a beautiful engagement diamond apply to diamonds for earrings... Most of the vendors here on PS carry matched pairs specifically chosen to be used as earrings or matching accent stones for three stone rings, just cruise through the individual inventory lists for each vendor and look for the matches... Most of us list unmounted diamonds for sale so that our customers can decide to set them any way that they prefer... This way you can choose to have the diamonds set in platinum, 14k white or yellow gold, with screw back or friction back posts, etc... Maximum flexibility.

Hello Natasha,

Most if not all of the vendors here on Pricescope offer matched pairs for earrings. And yes, most offer almost any type of settings in gold or platinum.

All you have to do is decide if you want a super ideal cut for the most beautiful look or something with a little less sparkle. Then look at the different color and clarity grades with the price and see where you are the most confortable. Next pick up the phone or e-mail the vendor with your diamonds. It is easy, fast and most here give good service.

You see, we want you to send your friends here to Pricescope for a diamond education and to find the best in diamond cut and prices.
