Hello-
Can anyone who has the technology show what a diamond with the following dimensions would generally look like? I''m not sure if this is possible, but it would be interesting to see this versus something that is cut better:

1.95 G VS2
61 depth
57.3 table
41.4 Pavillion angle
33.9 crown angle

This stone probably ranks an AGS 1, or AGA 2A, which is technically a "fine" or "very good" make. The DiamCalc simulated IdealScope image shows a fairly lively stone with a moderate amount of light leakage just inside the table.

This leakage is what pulls the HCA score down to 4.4, and shows up in the following images as the very light pink "ring" right inside the table, and as the darker area just inside the table on the photoreal image.

Thanks Rich, I appreciate it. Could you show me a stone would look like with a slightly smaller depth and pavillion angle? I would like to compare the first set of dimensions with that of a stone that wuold leak less light.
Thanks

Here's the same stone with the pavilion angle reduced to 40.9 degrees. The reduced pavilion angle drops the total depth to 60.4%

Notice the increased light return inside the table. It scores 1.1 on the HCA.

Thanks Rich, that's definitely interesting to compare the two. I appreciate it.
