Diamond Dilemma

Deciding between two diamonds, and need some advice! I have very little experience.

Option 1 is a .92 carat oval G VS2, currently loose and would need to decide on a setting. It is $2270

Option 2 is a 2 carat round K SI1, already set (Is it TOO gaudy for my hand?). It is $4800


I’ve always wanted oval, but never thought I could afford a 2 carat anything! What’s a girl to do???

Well, first of all, do either of these have certificates? The prices quoted are pretty low for the diamond sizes, you need to know exactly what you’re getting. A quick look online at 2ct K Si1 GIA XXX cut brings up diamonds over $9k.

I do not think they do have certificates, but they are from a diamond distributor in the immediate family. That’s why they’re affordable for me.

i don't need specs lol! go for the 2 but thats just me enjoy whatever you pick Lifes too short to worry about this stuff!!!!
