Hi Everyone,

I have a question that was brought to me today about a specific type of diamond cut that starts with the letter O. All I was told was that it was a rarer cut and that it started with the letter O. I brought up Oval, Octagon, Old Mine and Old European and these were not it. I am thinking it is some sort of branded cut, but I am just guessing on this. Any thoughts on what this could be?

Andy

P.S. I have never posted much, but I just love this forum!!!

Hi Belle,

This person was looking for this particular cut I believe. I did not hear the whole story. I was just asked if I had heard of any or knew of any cuts that fit the description.

Perhaps they are mistaking an O (as in Oscar) for a 0 (as in the number)?

A "0" cut grade is among the rarest.
