Bear with me since I have posted several times about the same thing. As I am looking more and more at diamonds to replace my center tanzanite, I''ve noticed that lower color grade diamonds look better next to my side alexandrite stones in my engagement ring. I was comparing E to J and liked the J. This was under jewelers lighting. I''m wondering if the stone only looks warm under the jewelers lighting. Will the stone look dirty in natural light? Should I go with the best color grade even though to my eye, I lean towards lower color grade? What do you experts feel? Does anyone else like a lower color grade diamond over a higher one?

Thanks again for your help.

no, it will not look dirty, just warmer.
