Hey everyone,
So I've been trying to search through the forum for my answer, but I'm only getting generalities, so here's my specific question, which I'm sure some of you can "answer" (it's actually more of an opinion) with just a moment's thought
I can either get a ~.90 ct or a ~1 ct stone. SI1 "eye clean". AGS Ideal, "top-rated" optical symmetry, ideal polish, ideal stone symmetry. This is a Round Brilliant, probably from Brian Gavin, as he's doing my ring.
The deciding factor is the color.
At this size of diamond, how noticeable would a shift from G to H be? G to I?? To afford the 1 ct, I'll probably have to go I color.
I'm guessing the average untrained eye wouldn't be able to tell, unless they were side by side. What about you experts on this forum?
Really trying to decide whether to prioritize the color or the size at this point.
THANKS SO MUCH!!
