Diamond Arrived From GOG Today

Ok...these pics are gonna stink, but hopefully it will show the awesome color off of the diamond...even if the diamond itself is not clear.

I am very happy with it too. It is eyeclean and I think the color is great

Do you have a tripod or macro setting for your camera?

No clue...I'll have to look at the camera better...lol

On most digital cameras the macro setting will have a pic of a flower. It'll allow the camera to focus better on close shots.

I will check it out and try again...this camera is a little old...still uses floppies in it

Geez, when they say overnight delivery . . . they mean overnight delivery! So glad you're thrilled with the stone - I can't wait to see it set. Hurry! And then the next thing is a new digicam. If you thought looking for a diamond was an involved process . . . well then . . .

Anyway.... the photo shows that the diamond has lots of fire...

btw... my local gemologist warned me not to play around with the temporary diamond holder because it's a bit tight. He said that the likelihood of the diamond flying off is high. He told me to get it set ASAP.

I actually squeezed the holder over the limit a little so that when it springs back, it's not so tight. Helped a little.

Way to go! I can tell enough from the pics to see you have a very white and very fiery stone. I love the size and think you did great. Can't wait to see pictures of it set!

BTW my camera does not appear to have this macro setting. It is old...maybe time to buy a camera too...ughhhh
