I just put a down payment on a center stone and would appreciate some feedback since I''m concerned about some of its characteristics.

This is the GIA report;

Round Brilliant
Measurment 7.56-7.65 * 4.58mm
Weight: 1.60 Carrot
Depth: 60.1%
Table: 54%
Girdle: Medium to slightly thick
Cutlet: NONE
Polished: Good
Symmetry: Good
Clarity: SI1
Color: G
Flourecents: NONE

The price I paid was USD$ 11,900

Please tell me if the proportions are OK for the price I paid. Am I getting my value.

Thanks a bunch.............

What is the carat weigh to the diamond?

The diamond does seem out of round (the difference is .11) so that means it won''t look as round. The polish and symmetry are good but not excellent. The price seems more in line with an ideal cut diamond than one with only *good* propotions..

Its 1.60 Weight to carrot. Is this not a good diamond for what I paid.

Thanks, Craig

If it is an ideal cut...the price seems right.... but if its not...its too high....

Do you like the diamond or no?
