Hello,
I have been shopping for an engagement ring online at James Allen. I have selected the ring I'd like, and am trying to decide between a few stones... As somebody who knows nothing about diamonds, my googling led me to believe that the following search criteria would give me a pretty good diamond for my 8-9K budget: Round, 1.0+ ct, H+ color, VS2+ clarity, excellent/ideal cut.
I think I am just looking for some feel good confirmation from people who don't work for the store I'm buying at...
Or some advice on why one is better than another or some new options.
I had narrowed it to #1, and #3 and JA's online consultant pointed out #2.

Shape: Round
Size: 1.11ct
Color: H
Clarity: VS2
Cut: True Hearts

JA's consultant also told me this:
I like that each diamond is a beautiful near colorless, eye-clean round cut diamond. Each diamond is an Ideal cut with an Ideal polish and symmetry to give you beautiful light and fire performance. They also will be within the recommended specifications for a well performing round shaped stone.
I would also like to recommend diamond #2. This beautiful 1.19ct. round eye-clean diamond, will be near colorless and will face up beautiful. This diamond will have similar characteristics to the ones you selected. I recommend this diamond based on its price, look and specifications.
Thanks in advance...
