Can anyone run these specs on the diamcalc for me. I tried to download the free version, but it won''t allow me to put in specs for a round brilliant:

Diamond 01:

Measurements: 6.17 - 6.21 x 3.84mm
Weight: .90
table- 54.0
depth- 62.1
crown angle-35.5
pavillion angle- 40.6
crown %- 16.0
pavillion %- 43.0
girdle- medium - slightly thick 3.0%
culet- none

Diamond 02:

Measurements: 6.32 - 6.35 x 3.77mm
Weight: .93
table- 61.0
depth- 59.5
crown angle-33.0
pavillion angle- 40.8
crown %- 12.5
pavillion %- 43.0
girdle- slightly thick 4.0%
culet- none

If anyone could provide me the .gem file for both that would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!!!!

Without a 3d scan file done with helium any results would not be anywhere close to accurate.
If those are gia numbers they are even more totally useless for modeling as they are rounded then averaged then grossly rounded.

Thanks for your reply Karl.

I've asked because I've read a lot on pricescope about how important the proportions are, and how too large a table may reduce the light return and may create a fisheye look. So I'm trying to find that little bit more on each and saw that the GemAdvisor provides values such as:

Light Return Mono…….....
Light Return Stereo……….
(Non) Leakage Mono……...
(Non) Leakage Stereo…….
Contrast………….......…....
(Non) Fisheye Effect……..

However, I can't do this without first inputting the data into Diamcalc. I completely understand that it's not completely accurate and is only an approximation. But it would definitely help me visualise easier the two diamonds and see whether either or both have major flaws as I want to get my partner one that has excellent brilliance and scintillation.

If anyone could help me out that would be great and much appreciated.

If you are just choosing a diamond, wouldn't an ASET or Idealscope + H&A scope be of better use to you in helping you make decisions?
