A few months ago we had a dealers stones for a day and Christian photographed them and ran Sarin full 3D .srn files and made DiamCalc ideal-scope images. Since then we have improved both the DaimCalc (version 2.3 is not far away) Ideal-Scope and the Rapid Photographic System (which auto crops the images and puts them in the correct file for FTP or printing).

I thought this would be interesting for all you Cut nuts

Oops, did I forget something?

Here is a blown up of one of those images - this is taken with a standard canon camera and inexpensive lens adaptors using only a small fraction of the camera capacity so the files are not too large.

Has the complete (with axes in place) version of this dissapeared from preciousmetals.com.au? I could not relocate it for anything !

The lineup makes great ref. for the Iscope. Thanks

Oh... I needed some cofee...

The lineup reminded me of the picture on THIS page on your website and assumed the Iscope was getting a brand new ref. chart

Way... aside the road!

Rich the software only is available for $1,500 and we can recomend uS wesites with the best prices for canon G3 or G5 camera (must be), screw on macro lens adaptor, stand and light box.
Christian has almost finished the CNC manufacture of the perspex tray that works for both ideal-scope and normal photo's. He will then work on a H&A's adaptor if we have demand.
The auto cropping is amazing - it works for any convex shaped diamond (eg sqaure, triangle pear etc) but not heart shapes - concave outlines.

Ana this is just a random parcel of F-D SI2's (as they say

in the trade).
We could not use any of these stones

There was no plan - just to show what the scan and DiamCalc does vs a real photo.
