First, I''d like to thank everyone for all of the great information on this board. It has quickly made me realize that there is much more to buying a diamond than just the basics of the 4 C''s.
Second, I am looking to buy a center diamond for a three-diamond platinum engagement ring (which I also haven''t bought yet, but I''m starting with the center diamond first). I''ve done a little searching and have found the following three diamonds. I was wondering if anyone could give me the opinions of the diamonds and let me know if there is anything that stands out the them as something I should be wary of (especialyy the depth and table percentages for an emerald cut). Some of the specs are hard for me to gauge, as most of the information I have been able to find has been on round cuts.

Also, I''ve heard mentioned on this site that it is a good idea to have an indepedent appraiser look at the diamond, but how does one go about doing this? Roughly how much does this peace of mind cost?
Thanks for input, it is greatly appreciated!!!
