Are these ranges true for all shapes of diamonds?

----------------------------------------
Depth percentage ranges are as follows:

Ideal 60.2 to 62.7%
Very Good 59 to 62.9%
Good 58 to 63%
Inferior over 64% or less than 58%

Few rules apply across all shapes of diamonds. Don't get too hung up on the numbers!

Try www.gemappraisers.com for some all-inclusive cut charts. The author posts on this site as oldminer and can comment on how the rules are not exactly hard and fast on fancy cut grading.

Thanks, I guess I should have added that I am interested in getting a radiant diamond.

The sales person = Ideal = 68-70%
GemAppraisers = Ideal Cut (1A) = 60.0-65.0%
Avosjewellery = Ideal = 60.2 to 62.7%

Looks like the sales person is a bit off?

Thanks again.

Might as well include the table too!

Sales Person = Ideal = 68-70%
Gemappraisers = Ideal (1A) = 61-63.5%
Avosjewellery = Ideal = 65% - 80%

Any reasons for these discrepancies?
